Marko Tomaš is a poet. He was born in Ljubljana in 1978. He attended primary school in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Kljajićevo, Serbia. He finished his secondary school education in Sombor, Serbia. He is one of the founders of the music festival “Beton” in Mostar. He published his journalistic texts in “BH Dani”, “Glas Istre”, “Slobodna Dalmacija” and “Feral Tribune”. He was a manager of “UTOPIA”, the cult bookshop in Split, Croatia, and also worked as the PR of the club “Močvara” in the Croatian capital Zagreb and of the Youth Cultural Center “Abrašević” in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He works as a journalist at the news portal “”. He also works as a DJ in the “Coco Loco” bar in Mostar, in the club “Pussy Galore” in Sarajevo and in other clubs in Mostar such as “Štefanijino šetalište”, “Next” and “Stolica”. He has been publishing his poetry and prose in newspapers and magazines in BiH, Croatia and Serbia. His poems were translated to Italian, Polish, German and English languages.
He has been living, studying and working in Sarajevo, Zagreb and Split. Currently he lives and works in Mostar, BiH.
